- MUST HAVE CLASS 5 NON-GDL, or CLASS 3, 2,1 if upgrading AT ALL TIMES
- STUDENTS SHOULD DRESS ACCONDINGLY -> reflective jacket,wear closed-toed shoes ( no sandals) and bring work gloves.

CLASS 1
1 MELT (Mandatory Entry Level Training) Automatic or Manual
This course is a Government of Alberta mandated 113hrs plus 8.5 hrs Air Brakes hours of training. It includes:
- 40.5 hours of classroom training
- 57 hours of in-vehicle training
- 39 hours of driving time
- 18 hours of ‘off-road’ maneuvers (couple/uncouple, backing)
- 15.5 hours of ‘in-yard’ training (inspection activities)
- 8.5 hour Air Brake ‘Q’ course included. ( does not apply with discounts)
- One Road TEST Truck rental INCLUDED
CLASS 1
1 Experience and Equivalency Automatic or Manual
Includes:
Total Hours: 40
Classroom: 12.5 hours
Yard Training: 6.5 hours
Cab Training: 21 hrs
- This course allows current Class 3 or 2 license. Drivers to take a condensed version of the
- Class 1 Training if they have 2 years of documented Class 3 or 2 driving experience.
- To take the Experience and Equivalency program, drivers must:
- • have a valid Alberta Class 3 or 2 (not S endorsement) driver’s licence
- • have held an Alberta Class 3 driver’s licence or the equivalent driver’s licence from another Canadian jurisdiction for 2 or more years
- • have 2 or more years of work experience operating a motor vehicle with 3 or more axles (vehicles that require at least a class 3 license to drive)

RESTRICTION REMOVAL
2 hours brush up or 10 hours if never driving a manual transmission
90 min Road Test :
40 min inspection
35 min driving
10 min backing
5 minutes commentary
This program is to help the student to remove the AUTOMATIC RESTRICTION IN ALBERTA, if the student already has the class 1, the road test will take up to 90 minutes.

- This price does not includes the use of the tractor unit for the Government road test. CLASS 3 LICENCE Authorized to operate trucks with more than 2 axles, including any combination of vehicles, OR a truck with 2 axles towing a vehicle with a registered gross vehicle weight of more than 4,540 kg (but does not include a semi-trailer truck).
AIR BRAKE
Endorsement Q will be added to your licence as soon as you pass a knowledge test at the registry

- As this course includes a 2-hour outdoor practical session in our yard, students should dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals), and bring work gloves.
ROAD TEST PREP
(minimun 2 hrs) $199
must rent the truck for road test
- The student will have the option to choose how many hours needs to gain confident and to feel skill-full for the road test.
- This price does not includes the use of the tractor unit for the Government road test.
